The year of the Dragon

We are in the great year of the Dragon. There has been a lot of publicity about the year of the Dragon although there is much more to it than people realize. The Chinese calendar goes back for centuries and so does the Mayan calendars. There is a very symbolic meaning to the Dragon.

The Dragon glyph is ruled by Neptune and represents unity, water, blood, primal mother, and is the source of life. Dragon is the Mother Goddess. Moving from the formless void into the waters of life, she is red like blood and magnetic. She is the psychic factor of bonding universes, the supraconscious of primal existence. She bonds in unity.

The Mayan glyphs tell the story of creation. The Dragon is the first glyph in the creation series. It talks about how the earth was without form, and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The mother principle of water and form taking shape from the void were briefly attributed in Genesis to the Spirit of God upon the face of the waters. The first calendar glyph Dragon corresponds with the first act of creation in Genesis as a creative principle.

Only the Supreme Spirit, the great Self-existing Power, the Creator, the Seven-Headed Serpent moved within the abyss of darkness in the Naga Maya creation myth. In the desire to create worlds, seven intellectual commands were given by the Seven-Headed Serpent.

The gases that were scattered and without form were brought together in a swirling mass of energy. The gases were solidified and volumes were left on the outside from which water and the atmosphere were formed. Darkness prevailed and there was no sound because neither water nor atmosphere had been formed. The gases were separated; one part went to form the waters, and the waters covered the earth so that no land appeared anywhere. The gases that did not form the waters formed the atmosphere.

We just entered the year of the Water Dragon on January 23, 2012, and we just finished the Mayan calendar, as interpreted by Carl Calleman on October 28, 2011. We are now entering Unity consciousness. The seed was planted on November 11, 2011 when the whole world celebrated together. This year is the beginning of the age of Unity and the great year of 2012.

It’s the year of the great awakening, and it’s time for the light workers to come forward and take their place as teachers to help awaken the rest of the population. Can’t you just feel this new force that is starting to encompass the globe? I am really excited about what will transpire this year.

On February 3, 2012 Neptune enters its own sign of Pisces, which is a water sign. This planet will be dominant for several years. Neptune is the female Goddess energy and it rules gases, magnetic energy, and the Photon Belt. I think we have been feeling the energy from that photon belt since November of 2011. This is really high frequency energy and everything manifests really fast because of that.

Neptune has been on the last degree of Pisces since February of 2011. This planet moves very slowly. The last degree of Pisces is the degree of the moth becoming the butterfly. Isn’t that what last year was all about? We were really forced to look at our belief systems and decide what to keep and what to throw out. Don’t you feel like a new person who is really ready to face anything that may happen? Light energy is coming in so strong that the heaviness is starting to leave. I feel much lighter in my body. It’s like a big load has been lifted off of my shoulders.

I think there will be many changes this year on all levels. As more people wake up they will be questioning what in the world has been going on in our world. They will say “I don’t like what I see and it’s time to change my thinking”. All of the darkness that was brought to the surface last year, like the banking scandals, the laws passed to try to control us, and a lot of other garbage, had to surface so everyone could see what has been going on in our world. Many people started to rebel against what was happening and I think this will continue to happen. With Uranus in Aries the energy for freedom is bound to surface and get very strong. We are in the time of the great awakening.

Some people say the earth will be destroyed this year. This is not my understanding. Our earth has been here for a long time and I think it will continue to be here for a long time. However, I think we will evolve into a higher frequency earth where love and peace will manifest by the end of this year, hopefully.

I have heard from different Remote Viewers that there is a wall of light at the end of this year that they can’t see beyond. I think the reason they can’t see beyond December 21, 2012 is because we will be on a higher frequency earthy, and until you reach that frequency you can’t see it. Unless the ones who control the world reach this frequency they will leave this earth plane because their bodies will not be able to handle the frequency.

The Bible talks about the New Heaven and the New Earth and how beautiful it will be. For me this is a fact because I saw it in a vision way back in the eighties. That vision has been what has kept me writing my articles all these years because I want everyone to experience the New Earth.

The Sun is moving through the sign of Aquarius right now and have you noticed how many wind storms there have been around the world? We had a major snow and ice storm in Seattle and the surrounding area last week. Then the winds came. We had gusts of 50 miles per hour in my area and a lot of people were without power. We were lucky we didn’t lose our power, but our cable connection was disrupted and we were without phone service, Internet and TV for a couple of days.

There will be a lot of events happening this year, and one of the largest events will happen on May 20, 2012 when there will be a solar eclipse with our Sun lined up with our central Sun Alcyone in the Pleiadian Star System. This is the ending of a major cycle that has been in affect for 25,920 years. I think we will be starting a new cycle of Love, Unity, and Abundance. Venus rules Taurus, and there will be a major Venus transit on June 5-6 when Venus eclipses our Sun. Venus also rules money.

Saturn is in Libra, which is the balance. We are now in the process of balancing the male and female principle together into one, which is unity consciousness. Don’t buy into the conspiracy theories and move into fear. Remember, it is all an illusion. Look at life as a movie. Create love and joy in your life and live in happiness.

I have more information about the Dragon and how it fits into our history but that will have to wait for another time. Anyway, we have a very interesting and exciting year ahead of us. As long as we think with our hearts we will be able to weather the many changes that will happen this year. And don’t forget that we are in the year of magic and miracles. So Be It!

Aquatic Species Decline at Dams and Weirs

Dams and weirs have a stronger impact on the ecosystem of watercourses than was previously realized. Species diversity in the dammed area upstream of weirs shows a significant decline: the diversity of fish species is one-quarter lower on average, and species diversity among invertebrates is up to 50 percent lower.


The interruption of a river course thus has greater effects on the biodiversity than the geological origin of the river itself. Scientists from the Technische Universitaet Muenchen have demonstrated this on the basis of a survey of five rivers in the catchment areas of the Elbe, Rhine/Main, and Danube.


Their analysis records, for the first time, both abiotic factors, for example chemical composition, current, and river bed substrate, and biotic factors, such as the number, size, and diversity of all important animal and plant groups on the two sides of weirs. The TUM researchers will present their findings, which have already been published online in the Journal of Applied Ecology, at the annual conference of the German Limnological Society, which takes place from September 12 to 16, 2011.


Whether it is done for the generation of electricity, for flood protection, or collection of drinking water, the damming of a river represents a drastic intervention in its ecosystem. Weirs and dams alter the chemical and physical characteristics of the water and the riverbed. Their construction is accompanied by a clear decline in upstream species diversity, and this is exacerbated by successive damming.
This phenomenon, which is known as "serial discontinuity," has now been measured for all important animal and plant groups by system biologists from the TUM for the first time; the information available up to now concerned only individual taxonomic groups or species.


The scientists carried out a systematic survey of the aquatic organisms on both sides of the weirs in five rivers of different geological origins. Their survey revealed a significant reduction in the number, biomass and variety of periphyton, invertebrates, and fish species upstream of the weirs. Compared with downstream areas, the diversity of fish species measured upstream of weirs was 25 percent lower on average; a threefold decline in biomass was also observed.


Current-loving fish species, many of which are on the "Red List" of endangered species, are particularly severely affected. "Brown trout, grayling and Danube salmon are demanding fish species that require oxygen-rich water and spawn in coarse gravel areas.


As typical residents of the upper reaches of rivers, they are unable to find suitable habitats in dammed areas," explains Juergen Geist, Professor of Aquatic Systems Biology at TUM.


"These river sections are often dominated instead by bream, chub, and even carp - generalist species that are actually adapted to stagnant waters. The ecological impoverishment of rivers is particularly dramatic when series of dams prevent the sufficient interlinking of different habitat types," says Geist. According to the Bayerische Landesamt fur Umwelt (Bavarian Environmental Agency) there are more than 10,000 weirs in Bavaria's rivers alone.


According to the researchers, the main reason for the species decline is not the impermeability of the barrier to migrating fish species. Instead, the deciding factor is the chemical and physical alteration of the river itself which leads to a reduction of biodiversity.


If the current is decelerated or interrupted, the flow rate upstream of the weir declines, and this is accompanied by increased water depth. In all of the surveyed dammed areas, the TUM scientists also recorded major differences in the oxygen content and temperature of the water and the sediment in the river bed, which hinders reproduction in current-loving fish species.


The situation is compounded by differences in the structure of the sediments. The particles in the sediment found downstream of weirs are twice as large on average as those upstream, providing more and better quality spawning grounds.


River sections in the direct proximity of weirs should, therefore, be given greater consideration in ecological quality assessments, notes Prof. Geist: "During the evaluation of new weirs or modernization of hydroelectric power plants, attention should no longer be focused exclusively on the migration of fish species, but on the consequences of the structure and function for the river ecosystem as a whole."
To ensure this, affected river sections must be covered by the relevant laws or regulations, such as the European Union Water Framework Directive. "A set of instruments for the quantification of the effects of weirs is now available, which records both the quality of the habitat and its biodiversity," says the TUM scientist.

BIG CHANGES are coming to Earth

Many have asked for me to comment on the Elenin/Nibiru debate. I was told to be prepared a long time ago for major changes, social, economic and physical Earth changes. The date was be finished by Sept. 10th, 2011 and home by the 17th. I find it odd that this corresponds with the flyby of Comet Elenin.

I asked again recently and was told the same message; BIG CHANGES are coming to Earth. Then we have the NASA warning to their people to start preparing, store food, water, etc. There has been a massive global effort to build underground facilities to house thousands yet in this country they are for the elite. The Banksters have cut and run, the stock markets are crashing, earthquake and volcanic activity is off the scale and the erratic weather, tornadoes, floods etc are also unprecedented.

These changes are not just with Earth they are happening throughout the galaxy. We are moving into alignment with galactic core, the center of this galaxy has recently flared into a massive energetic bubble, the sun is going postal with CMEs and flares, the magnetic fields are weakening and we are getting bombarded with cosmic rays and other energies like never before. Yet many are waiting for 2012 even though the Mayan calendar ends Oct. 28th 2011?

Many are still sending out that feel good message, nothing is going to change let's all hold hands and sing Kumbaya. Nature has a different story and what was prophecy is now statistics. If you are still watching TV and feeding into the social consciousness network you will not have a clue as to what is really happening in your galaxy.

We know there will be some people who will be watching their TVs right up to the last minute and wonder where the signal went, why their cell phones and internet does not work, why the power went off and why their debit card does not work? They will ask what is that loud roaring sound? Are these the big winds, the tsunamis, something really big passing by?

We know not everyone chose to make it through the changes and everyone is eternal in the long run. We also know there are many so addicted and attached to their reality never changing they will never listen to this message. We also know there are many false prophets, feel good messages with a false sense of security and imbalanced messages with no hope or solutions, just fear

We all need to read between the lines. Use our own inner sensitivity, treat them like oranges, peel them, eat the meat, spit out the seeds. Ultimately it is up to individuals to come to their own conclusions, educate themselves and use discernment. I personally do not see this economy continuing, it is unsustainable numerically and karmicly.

The major increase in volcanic activity and earthquakes, violent storms etc. is obviously building up to something. Something major is perturbing all the planets in our solar system including the Sun; which has fired a few near miss flares capable of taking down the grid as it did in the past. Scientists are warning it is just a matter of time before one is geoeffective.

The quakes, floods and tsunamis continue to threaten or cause melt downs of the unstable nuclear facilities which are already leaking time bombs. Nuclear fallout is raining down on humanity along with chemtrails laced with barium, aluminum, strontium and other biologicals yet your government is in denial.

The flu shots are laced with live virus, detergents, mercury etc and your waters are filled with up to 600 carcinogenic agents not to mention fluoride. Your food is laced with other toxins, preservatives, aspartame etc and now GMO foods; which sterilize cows and rats that eat them have entered the picture.
How long can the corruption, pollution, parasitical and predatory behavior continue.

How long can the corporations who capitalize on war, disease, and environmental destruction continue before they run out of people and resources? At what point is it time to reboot the planet? Does nature, God or the rest of the cosmos have anything to say about the direction and destiny of Earth?

Time to step aside, let the old world go and start creating a new world. One that is based on harmony with each other and nature. These times were foretold by all the ancients, mystics, saints and sages. We are now in them and it is not a year away. Be well.

How have you been handling the intense energy that has been coming to Earth lately? Are you spaced out? Are you sleeping a lot? I heard the rapture was going to happen on May 21, 2011, although I didn’t see anyone leave the Earth plane on that day. The man who predicted this event had his date right, but things didn’t manifest like he thought they would.

What happened is that a huge beam of light hit the Earth from our Central Sun Alcyone. This occurred just after midnight on May 20, 2011 PDT. Alcyone is located in the Pleiadean system and corresponds to 29 degrees Taurus. Because the beam came in just after midnight, the date is technically May 21.  Our Sun was located on 29 degrees Taurus until 2:21 AM on May 21.Then our Sun entered Gemini. This beam of light was a major event and set the energy in motion to bring heaven to Earth. On May 20^th we also started the third day in Carl Calleman’s interpretation of the ninth wave.

The Earth first crossed the galactic plane in May of 1998. Did you know that? It has taken 13 years to get to the end of that galactic plane, which happened on May 21, 2011. The Mayan Calendar is based on the numbers 13/20. This means we reached the end of a 13 year cycle on May 21, 2011 when Alcyone sent us that beam of light. The Mayan calendar is based on the star system of the Pleiades and the planet Venus.

Our Central Sun Alcyone lines up with the Pacific Northwest, from Vancouver Island to Northern California. I think that those of us who live in this area felt the energy the most because it was a direct hit. It really knocked me out. I was totally out of it for several days. I have now integrated this energy and am able to write this article.

A few days ago I was impressed to reread a book I have by Jose Arguelles called The Arcturus Probe which was written way back in 2006. I knew I was reading that book for a reason and when I read the part about A Round Table of The Blue Galactic Shield of Magic, I knew it was important. It says in that book “A round table of the Blue Galactic Order of the Shield of Magic is hardly an ordinary event, even by Arcturian standards. This gathering was called by Memnosis. Its purpose was to cast a Dreamspell Oracle regarding the next mission of the Arcturus Probe.”

“Within the fourth dimensional dome of the central stellar radion satellite midway between Arcturus and the Shining Anchor, the electric bodies gathered. Already among the gathered beings were a select few of Aldebarans, the elite force of the Dragonslayers. With glances of profound but silent recognition, we placed ourselves among the Dragonslayers. The festivities were on.”

“Then from the caldron, the radion-saturated core of the satellite, came the oracular voice. ‘You seek to know your next mission to know where you come from.’ If you know where you come from, then a shield showing where you come from is all you need. The mission will present itself.”

 “Memnosis, who cast the oracle, who spoke its truth, drew the rune. Lamat, the star, was the rune. The four pointed star of elegance, surrounded again by four circles in perfect balance with each other and the four points of the star. Four points, four circles, an index of eight reminders. Eight is the code number for the octave which is the galactic harmonic of Universal mind.

Well, guess what? The glyph for May 21^st was Lamat, the Star. The cycle of thinking with your mind just ended, and the cycle of thinking with your heart begins. Eight is also the number of the Goddess. The Star glyph is in the form of a diamond, and is the new diamond heart energy. There has been a time-war played out in our solar system. Some Beings from Saturn and Jupiter stole time and created an artificial matrix. We used to have a 13/20 system and they brought it down to a 12/60 system which cast us into the third dimension.

Beings from Jupiter destroyed the planet Maldek, which threw our solar system out of balance. The Arcturians thought they could reformulate this lost chord and integrate it as the perfect fifth chord. In essence this was the task that lay before them. Apparently Maldek was in the constellation of Leo (which rules the heart) when it was destroyed. Beings from the other side have been working on healing that chord for a long time.

It’s my understanding that they have been successful in restoring this lost cord, or replaced it with a new one, and now is the time for it to be sounded so the Universe can be in perfect balance again. The new chord is the sound of love.

This book also says that at the right time a 10 day time tunnel to Arcturus would be opened when the Mayan signature was on the glyph of the Worldbridger. This glyph was in effect on May 19, 2011 when the time tunnel opened. This is also the time tunnel that will bring Heaven to Earth. We are there. We are ascending. This is the dividing point between the people who think with their heart, and the people who are self- servers. The people who think with their heart will be able to walk through fire without getting burned. Those who think with their minds will have to go through more tribulation until the Mayan calendar ends on October 28, 2011.

Because the Mayan glyph was the Worldbridger when the time tunnel opened and this glyph rules the heart, my heart chakra started hurting on May 19th and it hurt all the way through the tunnel. We came out of this time tunnel on Saturday May 28 at midnight. Now we have three days until the new moon solar eclipse of June 1, 2011 which will start a new cycle and is Ascension Day this year, according to my calendar. Please check out

There will be a gathering of light workers in Vancouver Island on May 30-31^st. They are going to tone a new tone at their gathering. You might want to join them in the toning if you read this article before it happens. Vancouver Island is the acupuncture point for the grid of the Pacific Northwest. This will activate the energy that came from the Central Sun Alcyone on May 21^st. The tone of AH or HA adds up to nine, which is the frequency of the word love.

I have asked different people if they would tone, or do a ceremony on Monday, May 30 to tune into that energy and ground it in their area. The moon will conjunct Mars, which is in Taurus, on May 30^th at 10:43 AM PDT and the moon will conjunct Alcyone on May 31 at 2:56 PM  PDT. Anytime during those two days would be good to connect and ground that energy into the Earth, especially during the moon Alcyone conjunction. The pyramids in Egypt are in direct alignment with the Stargate in Tukwila and that is where I will be to ground this energy.

This is a major opening of high frequency energy. We just came through the time tunnel leading to abundance and the New Earth. We need to work together in peace and harmony to create this New Earth, which will be one of joy and happiness. This is the year of unity consciousness. Lets cooperate and become shining Beings of light and love. We are the ones we have been waiting for.  So Be It!

PLANET ALERT APRIL 2011 BY MAHALA

What's up for the new moon of April? 

On the new moon of April 3, 2011 at 7:00 AM PDT there will be six planets in Aries, plus Eris, and Vulcan. What a powerhouse that will be. Aries is ruled by the planet Mars, which carries very dynamic energy. This month will be Mars dominant. Uranus is in Aries and that planet rules revolution and change.

Aries is a fire sign, so look for more fire events like fires, volcanic eruptions, war and violence, and maybe even hot weather this summer. There is also a cardinal T-cross in the heavens between Aries, Libra and Capricorn. This means that events will happen very fast from now on, especially because we are in the ninth wave of the Mayan Calendar. This means that every twenty days will seem like a year. Wow, that is really fast. Does this mean a major event will happen every 20 days or so?

Then Neptune moves into its own sign Pisces on April 5, 2011, after 14 years in Aquarius. Neptune went into Aquarius at the end of January 1998. Neptune is a female, magnetic planet. She is considered the higher energy of Venus. On November 9, 1998 the earth went to zero magnetics for a short period of time. This was when the magnetic pole shift first started to happen. The magnetic north pole started to slowly move towards Siberia until December 21, 2010 when it landed in Surgut, Siberia. It looks like the magnetic pole has stopped moving.

This feminine planet was in the male sign of Aquarius for all those years. This energy was teaching us how to balance our right and left brains so they can work together as one. This is when we can start manifesting oneness consciousness. To do this we had to finish releasing our shadow self. This process started at the time of the Harmonic Convergence in August of 1987.

This is when we first moved into the fourth dimension and everything started to fall apart, including the Berlin Wall. We had to start looking at ourselves and release the behavior we no longer needed to experience. This has been a long hard process, and at times it was like walking through mud. This brought a lot of poor-me events to the surface. Hopefully we have passed that phase and are ready to manifest freedom. I just heard that Jose Arquelles, the one who organized the Harmonic Convergence, just died. Is his death symbolic of us finishing up moving through the fourth dimension? Are we ready for the fifth?

Neptune represents soft gentle Pisces energy, and will be right at home in that sign after April 5th. Pisces rules water, oceans, feelings and emotions. If you don't meditate, now is the time to start because you might be able to reach cosmic consciousness. We will have a taste of this energy until Neptune moves back into Aquarius on August 3, where it will stay until February of 2012. Then it will move into Pisces where it will stay for years.

It's my understanding that Neptune was the first planet created in this solar system. This means that some people had to deal with karma going all the way back to that planet. The dark side of Neptune is deception and drugs. One of the biggest lessons from this planet has been the misuse of drugs of all kinds. Look at how this has affected the Earth and everyone on it. We have had the drug war for years, and also the controlling Pharmaceutical Cartel. Thousands of people die every year from drugs, both illegal and prescription drugs.

Many people take drugs to get into a feeling of euphoria. Soon we will be able to attain this feeling without the use of drugs. The energy from Neptune in Pisces will allow us to obtain bliss just from living life. Neptune is the Mother Goddess and it is time for her positive energy to cover this Earth.

I found an old article about Neptune when I was going through some old papers. It is called Neptune Rising and was from Discover Magazine Vol. 21 No 9 (September 2000). It is a very interesting article. It talks about a planet where it rains diamonds. A graduate student in physics put some methane in a pressurized chamber and used a laser beam to create pressure and heat conditions that you might find about a third of the way toward the planet's center. He found that carbon atoms would form a coal-like substance, but under extreme pressure, they formed diamond dust. This means that Neptune rules diamonds.

This leads me to mention the new Christ star that is diamond shaped. It is actually a curved diamond. The Star of David is a double pyramid. The pyramid that points up is considered male and the down pointing one is female. This represents polarity. When you put the pyramids together you get a diamond. This diamond shape appeared in a crop circle in England in August of 2006.

We have a carbon based body that is turning into a crystal light body. This is why it is important to connect to your diamond heart and manifest the energy from that beautiful crystal clear light. This is pure white light with sparkles of gold and silver in it. This white light contains all colors of the rainbow including gold and silver. You can also surround yourself with golden light for The New Age of Aquarius. Gold is male energy and silver is female. There is very intense planetary energy that is in effect right now. Starting on March 26, the moon was conjunct Pluto (the planet of transformation, oil, and nuclear energy) in a 90 degree angle to five planets in Aries, opposing Saturn in Libra. This fast acting cardinal cross will start to be activated on March 26, and will continue to be in effect for a long time. 

There could be many events happening from this T-cross but it looks to me like the main part of this energy is focused on North Africa, and the Middle East. Jupiter is on 13 degrees Aries in an opposition to Saturn on 14 degrees Libra. Saturn (the karmic planet) is exactly over Tripoli, Libya with five Aries planets opposing it. This is why the war is being fought in that area and in the surrounding countries. The rebellion started in Tunisia, then moved to Egypt and became a war in Libya.

The United States went to the United Nations to get approval to help the people of Libya. This means that the whole world is basically together against Gadhafi. The United Nations represents all people of the world. This means that we are in a third world war which will probably escalate because of all the planetary energy in effect. This is a war for freedom. It is now time for everyone to be free.

In ancient prophecies the third world war was predicted to happen first, and then the ball of redemption would arrive. It looks like the ball of redemption (Elenin) is here. I call this object Nemesis. Whatever you want to call it, this brown dwarf star is here and has been affecting the Earth for a long time. The most recent event was the earthquake and tidal wave in Japan. This object will be at the closest point to Earth this fall.

We will continue to have more natural disasters like volcanic eruptions, fires, earthquakes, storms and floods. There is a strong concentration of planets over Samoa, Fiji, Philippines, Indonesia, and up to Hawaii or Alaska. As the Sun moves into Taurus the west coast, plus Mexico, will be affected. Then of course there is the Middle East, which could also have a natural disaster.

Food Crisis: 5 Ways to Prepare

Posted on Pakalert on January 14, 2011. Recently there has been an incredible flurry of news reporting about food shortages and the pending global food crisis. Everyone who looks at the indicators would agree that this crisis is only likely to worsen.  It is estimated that the Australia floods alone could cause a 30% jump in food prices. Although the average shopper already can feel the food inflation, it is difficult to recognize the severity of the looming food shortages.  After all, there are still 15 types of colorfully-boxed Cheerios packing the isles, which gives us the illusion of abundance.

The truth is that we are headed for large food production shortfalls, manipulated or not, while middle-class food demand grows massively in the developing world.  For decades the world’s agriculture community produced more than enough food to feed the planet, yet some now believe we are reaching “Peak Food” production levels.  In turn, other experts believe the “food bubble” is about to burst, and not even the biotech companies can save us.

However, there are still vast unused stretches of fertile land that can be used around the globe, and the U.S. ethanol mandates that reportedly consume at least 25% of the corn harvest could be reduced to ease the burden. Therefore, it seems that despite the extreme weather and dwindling harvests, food production still has room to increase, but not without foresight and planning.

Additionally, the current systems for growing food are fully dependent on oil to achieve high levels of production, while livestock production is running at full concentration-camp capacity; the end product must then travel thousands of miles to get to store shelves.  Clearly we can see the fragile nature of this system, especially on human health and the environment.  Consequently, solving the so-called “food crisis” is far more complex than simply fixing statistical supply and demand issues.

Indeed, these are turbulent times where humanity appears to be nearing Peak Everything. Ultimately, solutions to the food crisis will begin at the local level.  There are cutting-edge farming techniques gaining popularity that produce a large variety of crops by mimicking nature, as well as innovative techniques for small-scale food production at home or in urban buildings.  These hold promise for easing local hunger.

Personal ways to protect yourself from food shortages may seem obvious to some, but many feel the task can be insurmountable.  To the contrary, here are 5 simple ways to protect yourself from the coming food crisis:

1. Create a Food Bank: Everyone should have a back-up to the everyday food pantry.  In this environment, you should consider your personal food bank far more valuable than a dollar savings account.  Start by picking up extra canned goods, dried foods, and other essentials for storage each time you go to the store.  Also, hunt for coupons and shop for deals when they come up.  Devise a plan for FIFO (first in, first out) rotation for your food bank. It is advisable to acquire food-grade bins to store your bulk dried foods, and be sure to label and date everything. Besides the obvious store-able foods like rice and beans, or canned goods, some other important items to hoard are salt, peanut butter, cooking oils, sugar, coffee, and powdered milk.  If you don't believe the food crisis will be too severe, then buy items that you would eat on a normal daily basis.  But if you believe the crisis will be sustained for some time, purchasing a grain mill to refine bulk wheat or corn may prove to be the most economical way to stretch your food bank.  Some emergency MREs are also something to consider because they have a long shelf life.

2. Produce Your Own Food:  Having some capacity to produce your own food will simply become a necessity as the food system crumbles.  If you don't know much about gardening, then start small with a few garden boxes for tomatoes, herbs, or sprouting and keep expanding to the limits of your garden. And for goodness sakes, get some chickens.  They are a supremely easy animal to maintain and come with endless benefits from providing eggs and meat, to eating bugs and producing rich manure.  Five laying hens will ensure good cheap protein for the whole family.  If you have limited growing space, there are brilliant aquaculture systems that can produce an abundance of fish and vegetables in a small area.  Aquaponics is a contained organic hydroponic system where the fertilized waste water from the fish tank is pumped through the vegetable growing trays which absorb the nutrients before returning clean water to the fish tank.  Set high goals for independent food production, but start with what's manageable.

3. Learn Food Preservation: Food preservation comes in many forms such as canning, pickling, and dehydrating.  In every case some tools and materials are required along with a good deal of knowledge.  If you can afford a dehydrator, they all usually come with a preparation guide for most foods.  You can also purchase a vacuum sealer if you have the means.  A good vacuum sealer should come with thorough instructions and storage tips, and will add months if not years to many food items.  If you're a beginner at canning, start with tomatoes first.  It's easy and very valuable when all your tomatoes ripen at the same time and you want fresh pasta sauce in the winter.  A bigger ticket item that is nice to have for food preservation is a DC solar powered chest freezer.  It is the ultimate treasure chest.

4. Store Seeds: The government and the elite have seed banks and so should you.  Seeds have been a viable currency in many civilizations past and present.  They represent food when scarcity hits.  Before the rise of commercial seed giants like Monsanto, local gardeners were adept at selecting seeds from the healthiest plants, saving them, and introducing them to the harvest for the following year, thus strengthening the species. Through local adaptation to pests, genetic diversity was further ensured; it was long-term thinking at its finest. That is why it is important to find heirloom seed banks and learn to save seeds from each harvest.

5. Join or Start a Local Co-Op: Joining local cooperatives is very important, especially when food shortages occur. You may not be able to provide for yourself completely, especially in terms of variety, so having a community mechanism to spread the burden and share the spoils will be critical.  If you don't know if you have a local food cooperative in your area you can search the directory at LocalHarvest.org.  You may also be able to get information from your local farmers market.  If your area doesn't have a co-op, then start one.  These co-ops don't have to be big or elaborate.  In fact, it may be more optimal to organize it with friends, neighbors, or co-workers.  Whether you join or start a cooperative, work to expand the participants and products.

PLANET ALERT JANUARY 2011

                            

Happy New Year everyone and may this be the best year ever. We are now in the year 2011. What will happen in this wonderful New Year? Will we continue to think with our hearts and glow with the light of God? I sure hope so because it is time for us to manifest a new reality of magic and miracles. When we feel joy or bliss in our hearts everything will start to open for us. We have a blank screen in front of us ready for our creations.

We finished a 26,000 year cycle on Dec 21, 2010 and have now moved into an entirely new reality. The solstice and lunar eclipse in December signaled the end of the Kali Yuga Vedic Astrology cycle, and the end of a 26,000 year cycle of Capricorn. Capricorn rules materialism, controllers, big business, governments and structures and is ruled by the planet Saturn which has been considered the karmic planet. This means our karma is over, and we have moved into the Golden Age of Aquarius which will bring us joy and happiness.

We moved into the transition period of the Age of Aquarius in February of 1962 when several planets lined up in that sign. We went through the roaring sixties and then entered the space age. Before we knew it we had computers, and eventually the World Wide Web. What a marvelous invention. Now we can connect to anyone, anywhere in the world, at the touch of our keyboard. Isn’t that fun?

I know there are many people out there who are still caught in their trauma and drama and they need our help. We can help them by being who we are and shining our light. We can heal them simply by our presence. We have been told in the past that there would be three different waves of light or ascension. I believe the first wave happened on December 21, 2010. The second wave will happen on October 28, 2011, and the third wave will happen on December 21, 2012 which I believe is the end of time as we know it.

We are still in the transition phase and Mother Earth will continue to cleanse herself by natural disasters like storms, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, fires, snow, rain, and floods. We have sure seen a lot of storms and flooding in the past year. This has been from all of the Pisces energy from Uranus and Jupiter both being in that water sign. Now the planets are beginning to move. Jupiter goes into a fire sign on January 22, 2011. This will cause more fire events like fires and volcanic eruptions. Then when Uranus goes into Aries there will be fire energy for seven years. Fire is our passion within and lots of creative juice will be flowing through us, including the fire of our Kundalini energy.

Then Chiron enters Pisces on February 10, 2011 where it will stay for eight years. This will bring bliss to many people. Then the node moves into Sagittarius on March 3^rd, and the 9^th wave of the Mayan calendar starts on March 9^th and time will start to speed up really fast. If you think time has been going fast in the past few years it will be nothing compared to how fast time will speed up this year until we reach the time of no time on December 21, 2012. We will then be living totally in the Now.

We are about to have lots of changes. We start the New Year of the Rabbit on February 3^rd, which is a much gentler year than the year of the Tiger has been. There will be more cooperation with leaders around the world, and this may just be the beginning of peace on Earth. There will also be more cooperation with those who have started thinking with their heart.

The United States has been the leader of the world for a long time and our president Barack Obama has the signature of Ben, the Red Skywalker as his Mayan Dreamspell glyph. This means that he is a time-space traveler who can jump dimensions to assist you in realizing heaven on Earth. Ben is unlimited in form but often chooses the form of the angelic messenger. Ben is at the forefront of conscious thought and ahead of its time, for it is a frequency that anchors a new vision.

Doesn’t it sound like we have the right person as our leader for this time period? Isn’t it time to support our leaders and quit fighting them? How can we create peace on Earth when there is so much dissension, criticism, and fighting everything our leader tries to do? It is time to speak up, but do it in a peaceful way. Let there be peace on Earth and let it begin with me. Maybe it is time to stop listening to the negative and fear thoughts that are so prevalent on the web and in our news right now. When I hear something negative happen I say ‘that is not my reality’. I choose to live in peace, love and abundance. All is well in my world.

I honor all the people who have brought out information to educate people on how much we have been controlled by the bankers and the secret world government. And of course the UFO information was also covered up. Many people lost their lives because of the information they brought forward. All of this negativity had to come to the surface for everyone to look at and see for themselves what has been going on in our world and more will probably come to the surface this year. We do have to deal with what is in front of us, but I think it is time to forget about the conspiracy theories and vibrate to the new energy. If we start to vibrate high enough, our problems will cease to exist.  We will then be manifesting a new reality.

In numerology this year can be either a 4 or a 13 vibration. It’s 2011! Many people look at it as a 11 year which can manifest as peace and cooperation. Others see a 4 or a 13, or even a 22. I prefer the number 13 because that is the vibration of Goddess energy. It’s also the number of change and transformation. Four is the foundation of something, and this could be the foundation of the new reality we have just entered.

We also start the New Year with a solar eclipse on January 4^th on 13 degrees Capricorn. This degree will affect Washington, D.C. which is 13 degrees Cancer, and run all the way down to Florida and the Caribbean. We do have new government leaders that are about to start their new jobs. Let’s send them lots of light for their highest and best good.

This eclipse also affects the longitude lines from 60 to 90 degrees west longitude, which is basically the area from the Mississippi River to the East Coast. Arkansas is around 94 degrees longitude. What caused all those birds and fish to die? Was it gas from an underground volcano in that area? Is it showing signs of erupting, or is the New Madrid fault ready to go? The energy from the December 21 solstice was directly over the New Madrid fault.

Chili and Argentina are both within the 60 to 90 longitude where seven plus quakes have already happened. The other side of the world will also be affected like China and the South Pacific. The areas affected by the darkness will be North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

The meaning of 13 degrees Capricorn is ‘a fire worshiper meditating on the ultimate realities of existence’.

The mystery of fire has always captured man’s imagination because it is the mystery of all transformations wrapped in the enigma of death. This brings us to the stage beyond life itself. Are you ready to transcend into a higher frequency?

When the node moves into Sagittarius in March, and Mars and Jupiter move into Taurus in May and June of this year I think we will start to see the beginning of a new monetary system. This could be a system backed by gold.  Neptune will be moving into its own sign of Pisces on April 5, 2011. Then we can welcome higher consciousness into our reality. Neptune is a beautiful feminine, magnetic planet that rules water and the oceans. It manifests a higher frequency than Venus. There will be lots of changes this year. Some will be considered negative and some positive.  Out of the chaos will come a new reality.  So Be It!
