You Believe What you See

One of three central themes for the year is alignment, as I wrote in the 2012 predictions. While we are always in alignment with something, as this is the mirror of our reality, we will start questioning whether what we are in alignment with reflects the best use of our energetic resources. Alignment flows from our beliefs and what we see around us and there is a continuous in and out flow of energy that accepts or rejects, confirms or denies our reality and what we are aligned with.

Our reality simply mirrors our thoughts and yet we give it so much more power. We believe that since it is in our reality it must be true and the thought that it could be an illusion that we change at will, like putting our hand in a still pool and creating a multitude of ripples, seems inconceivable. Yet it is not what we see that is the true, it is our beliefs about it that give it a permanent place in our illusion. We believe what we see and yet, it is what we believe that creates what we see.

Poverty consciousness, for example, is reflected in our financial situation. The reality is we may not have any money but it's a reality that is a reflection of our internal messages about abundance, deserving, worthiness and self love. So the poverty we experience in any moment is what we see but that is only because we believe that this is what we should see. Then it's time for us to change the illusion, by aligning with new beliefs and thoughts that are focused on prosperity and this creates a new kind of alignment. Until we do that, we are aligned with our poverty consciousness and that is what we will create for ourselves.

That's why intention is our key to mastering the powerful energies of 2012 which demand our full commitment to our life path and co-creation. While we ask for power and want to be powerful, we hesitate when we realize the full implications of what that means. It demands responsibility, integrity and of course, alignment with our great-ness. Are we willing to experience life from the fullness of our highest energies, abilities and power? We say we are and then we consider the possible results and start backing away. When we're immersed in this level of energy we have to be committed to our path and fully aware of the power of the illusion but our even greater power to change it in any moment.

New Year, New You?    

Someone sent me an email with information about creating a new me for the new year. I thought about it for a while and then decided I didn't want a new 'me', I'm perfectly happy with the one I am right now, especially if having a 'new me' means going through all of the learning, healing, growth and transformation I have done in the last fifteen years. What I would prefer is to have a whole me, one that is perfectly aligned and complete, with my healing and clearing work finished so I can make new choices for my life.  

How much pressure do we put on ourselves to change or transform because it's the beginning of a new year? What if we aren't ready to change on January 1 and that doesn't happen until March 31? Do we feel bad for three months because we have to put our 'new me' on hold? I know that we have new realizations every day and this transforms our life in the only way it can be changed, one step at a time. Putting pressure on ourselves to change just because the date is January 1 is an invitation to self judgment and criticism.

I recently gave away some things that I had been hanging on to for years. Now I haven't used them in a long time but I thought I would, so they stayed in a closet until I decided that they would be useful to me again. Then one day last week I was getting something out of that closet and I saw these items and wondered 'why did I keep this?' The connection was gone and I was ready to let them go. And that is how effortlessly release can happen as long as we don't put pressure on ourselves to change too quickly.

We always change in spirit before we change in the physical so as we become more aware of what is happening with us on a spiritual level, we may also become aware of what may feel like material stagnation. This is a time to be gentle with ourselves and to remember that we carry energetic imprints that have been with us for eons. The gradual process of healing prepares us to be ready to replace what we release, so that we are always filling our cup and emptying it at the same time. And this is a much gentler, whole and aligned approach to creating a new me, one that we can sustain and that will support us on the next steps of our life journey.

Uriel's Message -- You and God are One

There is no separation between you and Source or God or the Universe or the name that is given to the energy that supports, nourishes, connects and sustains everyone and everything in the Universe. The judgments that serve to separate humanity from its divinity are only thoughts that cannot erase the truth that is encoded in the light you carry. What you call separation is also known as the dark or as fear and it is the only thing that separates you from the oneness you have with Source.

But this separation exists within humanity because it is impossible for Source to be separate from what its own light and you are an emanation of that light. When you remember that 'You and God are One' layers of fear that you know as unworthiness and separation are released. Your soul is unburdened and can breathe in light, free from the density of the energy of third dimensional learning. For a moment you can re-member, or rejoin, yourself to God.

There is an inevitable end to the journey of reconnection and it will happen for all of humanity, each person in their own time. The cycle of karma and healing will continue for each soul until it remembers that it is one with Source, can recall its light, embrace love and learn forgiveness. While there is an ascension path within the earth's cycle, all of humanity will be able to experience reconnection and ascension but it is not a single event. Rather, it is a journey that each soul is on and has been on since the beginning of its third dimensional experience.

See yourself as one with God, know that you are the light of God and that the Source of your light is within you and always with you. There is no separation other than that which you believe you have created and that is not the spiritual truth which is the only truth. Know that "I and God are One", make this your daily affirmation and breathe in the light that is the light, love and truth of who you are.

The Mother Contract 

A woman's role in society has been, traditionally, to have children, be good mothers and to raise their children, from birth to adulthood. Then something happened, women didn't want to have children, or they had unwanted pregnancies and either aborted or gave the child up for adoption. Then, recently, women began to lose custody of their children in divorces. Were they bad mothers because they chose to be childless, had an abortion or gave their child up for adoption? Were they bad mothers (or women) because they weren't raising their children?

The mother contract is a complex soul agreement that involves soul group dynamics, soul promises, commitments and often heavy karma. There is a big difference between agreeing to bring a child into the world (which involves sharing energy, karma and DNA) and helping that child become an adult. Every child that is conceived is not destined to be born to or raised by the woman who carries her. That is a social standard that does not take into account the spiritual aspects of our life journey.

There is no standard mother contract, each one depends on the soul agreement between the mother and child. Even in the case of adoption or abortion, there is an agreement for that to happen in fulfillment of the contract. More fathers are gaining custody of and caring for children, which is another part of the mother contract between the parents and the child. The child needs the father's energy, even if he is not the best father (and that is another topic).

The emphasis on the traditional, standard loving household doesn't respect our soul's desire for healing which is why we enter the third dimension. And social standards judge mothers harshly for not adhering to the traditional mother role. The changing human paradigm is allowing eons of karma to be healed so that we can live through our highest aspects, karma free. The new generations of children are choosing the parents who will help them complete karmic cycles within soul groups and this is why events happen that, from a spiritual perspective, are completing karma but from a material perspective, are judged as bad or wrong.
